1974 Ford Ranchero 500 Classic. This car/truck classic is very well preserved as the photo show and not a rust bucket in the least bit. Well kept and mostly original 351-2v V-8 engine, automatic transmission, factory Ford air conditioning, three passenger bench seat, spare tire, still intact factory radio, extremely clean bed area and rear tow hitch. This car was part of a large Collection and has been sitting for an extended period of time as you can see from the last inspection it was in 2000. This car starts and runs but will need tuneup related items possibly a carburetor clean but does start run and we have driven it up and down the road shifts and operates but will need the typical from sitting items replaced. Look closely at the pictures of the rocker panels fender wells etc. I don’t think you will find a more rust free specimen then this car. For financing assistance with multiple credit unions and lenders in state and out of state apply at (Please realize some vehicles may not qualify with all banks and all out of state situations; feel free to call ahead to verify.) We also accept USAA and Navy Federal checks as well as we\'ll be more than happy to work with your bank or credit union of choice. We can provide bill of sale, copy of title, etc. - whatever they may request. We also accept cash deals. We are very proud to be celebrating over 40 years of business in Chesterfield County.
In 1976, Davis Auto Sales opened in the southern part of Chesterfield County branching off from the already existing Davis Auto Repair family run business which was started in the early 1950’s by TL Davis, Jr. Jimmy Davis, always a mechanical handyman, saw a way to buy and repair vehicles in his spare time to make extra money. Always tinkering, his passion became a business. Instead of doing things against the rules, as many today still do, he made it legal -- got the licensing needed and Davis Auto Sales was born. Mr.Davis was running the show by day and Gail Davis (wife) was handling the books at night, while still working in a corporate career. Being in a rural area, the business had small beginnings specializing in trucks, 4x4 vehicles, some large sedans, and station wagons. As the times changed, and the localized community that traveled on the rural Woodpecker Road location branched out, it was time to look for a more visible location.
