    Description

    This is a beautiful original example of a mounted Antique Thai Bronze Buddha Bust. I believe the bust is from the U Thong Period in Thai History.  Please note the typical intact flame spike and the intricate detail of the face.  This piece mostly likely dates from the 15th to 16th Century.  Item was originally purchased in Bangkok in the early 1970's by my father who was an antique dealer in Penang Malaysia at the time.

    Buddha Bust Dimensions: 3 1/4 inches wide at the base, 6 ½ inches high with depth of 3 inches.
    Acrylic Base Dimensions: 3 5/8 inches wide, 2 1/8/ inches deep and 1 3/8 inch high.
    Weight: 1 pound, 7.2 ounces (23.2 ounces total).
