    I have a number of experts look at this and they have ruled out it being from the Americas and mostly relate the object to East/Asia. We also cannot decipher what it’s use is, we have guessed everything from bird feeder to incense pot, although large for that. Either way it’s a stunning piece with beautiful carved or pressed relief done in a beautiful contrast. No chips or cracks. It measures 11” high by about 8” wide. A true piece or art as anyone who sees it marvels.
