Marquetry: Old Large Handmade Panel of Elegant Asian Lady. Restored & Refinished

Description

The handmade piece is very well crafted.  I believe it is also very old.  My guess is that it's from the late 1960's or early 1970's.  That is based upon the finishing the artist used (before I refinished the image).  The joints between pieces are very tight, and the wood types compliment the story of this very lovely young woman. This young woman well formed and pretty.
As I have owned this piece for a very long time, I have also had the opportunity to look at and gain an understanding of what the artist was trying to create.  Perhaps at first glance you might not notice what I have seen over time.  If you look at the cords to the left of the woman, you will also see that there is a curtain directly behind her.  The railing behind her (I believe) is a part of a stage.  All that said, I believe this marquetry is the portrayal of a young woman on stage. Perhaps she is an actress, singer, or a dancer, or all of those combined talents represented here in this single marquetry image.
As with all my artwork that I have for sale,  I will package it with great care.  Depending upon the buyer's address, I will ship this piece by USPS., or FedEx.  At this time I am shipping within the lower 48 states only.
