Rare “The Americsn Transportation Co.” 1855 stock certificate. Dated 15th February 1855 in Buffalo NY. One hundred and fifty 100 dollar shares and numbered 19. Has an Eagle and Shield at the middle of the top with a harbor scene at the bottom. Right hand side has a picture of a boat on a lock. This looks in excellent condition for its age with just the three fold creases, the corners are sharp. A very high dollar amount for an early stock certificate.
