Turkish Handpainted Large Ceramic Vase, Kutahya, Hight: 40cm (16" inch), Signed

Description

Large ottoman ceramic vase, painted with traditional design and signed by the artist.
Handmade and handpainted in the city of Kutahya, Turkey.
Hight: 40cm (approximately: 16" inches)
Colors: Blue, white, turquoise.
Vase was bought in Istanbul in 1991.
In good condition. Some ware on top perimeter and on the side(a small chip). P

Vase has an open bottom by construction (see picture).
I had sealed the hole with silicone, so that I could fill the vase with water.
Later I removed it, but there is some silicone left in the inside of the vase (near the bottom). Not visible, but you can feel it by hand.
