Size
:
It is about 6 inches in diameter; about 1 and 3/4 inch tall/deep; and the bottom/foot is over 2 inches in diameter.
Markings
:
This Plate/Bowl is signed/marked: "Sirca Hand Made (Ottoman Miniature) Ozlem/Avanos" in the back.
Style
: Scalloped edges, hand made & hand painted inside and outside. Reproduction of an antique Ottoman Miniature: Male figures in traditional clothing (picnic scene?), and the plate is adorned with very traditional Turkish/Ottoman/Anatolian designs.
Condition
:
This ceramic bowl is in excellent vintage/antique/pre-owned condition. It is very clean and shiny. It was used only as a display piece in the glass cabinet.
Because it has a shiny glaze. it reflects the light and the photos do not capture its true beauty and vibrant colors
. This plate is hand wash only and I do not know if it is food safe.
The designs, colors, and craftsmanship is stunning.
Since this is hand made by artisans, it may show imperfections on its designs.
It may also show some surface scratches, minor loss/cracking of the glazing, minor flea bites, and other minor imperfections.  These imperfections are normal/expected from items pre-owned and vintage/antique. They add character and charm to the item.
